Did you know The famous phrase “I want YOU” from Uncle Sam’s poster was created during World War I to encourage people to join the army .

But here’s a tip: in English, when we say “I want you to do something”, we always add “to” + verb.

Example:
I want you to speak English fluently!
I want you to join our class!

¿Sabías que La famosa frase “I want YOU” del cartel del Tío Sam fue creada en la Primera Guerra Mundial para animar a la gente a alistarse en el ejército .

Truco: en inglés, cuando decimos “I want you to…”, siempre añadimos “to” + verbo.

Ejemplo:
Quiero que hables inglés → I want you to speak English
Quiero que vengas a clase → I want you to join our class
